Our trip to Taiwan is only a few days away, so I thought I’d share with you what our final itinerary looks like.

April 29: To Tokyo
- Bus: Tsuruoka -> Shinjuku (via KiraKira night bus)
April 30: To Taipei
- Trains: Shinjuku -> Nippori (via Yamonote Line) ->Narita (via Keisei Express)
- Plane: Narita -> Taipei (via Scoot)
- Bus: airport -> Taipei High Speed Rail station
- Train: Taipei HSR Station -> Zuyong Station (via Taiwan HSR)
April 30-May 5: Kaohsiung
- Accommodation: Walking Story
- Possible activities:
- rent bikes and bike around town
- night markets
- ferry to Cijin District
- spend a day in Kenting National Park
- Bus: 1.5/2 hrs
May 5: To Taichung and Taipei
- Train: HSR Zuyong -> Taichung
- Chun Shui Tang tea house: birthplace of boba tea
- Train: HSR Taichung -> Taipei
May 5-May 9: Taipei
- Accommodation: Couchsurf
- Our flight out on May 9 is super early, so we may end up sleeping in the airport on May 8.
- Possible activities:
- Taipei 101 (dumpling shop–Din Tai Fung)
- Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall
- Yangmingshan National Park
- more night markets
- Jiufen–Spirited Away inspiration
May 9: Return to Tokyo
